Public summary
This concept explores how connected truck technologies can create a more intelligent, driver-centred experience for India’s long-haul commercial drivers. It examines opportunities across the driver’s journey on the National Highways — from FASTag tolls and interstate checkpoints to dhaba rest stops — and proposes a contextual human–machine interface (HMI) that brings vehicle information, navigation, fleet coordination and connected services together, making relevant information easier to access and decisions easier to navigate. A proposed experience; validation and implementation are future phases.
